The UEMS is delighted to be one of the 18 partners of the KEEPCARING project, coordinated by the University of Amsterdam.

The project is funded by the European Commission further to the Horizon call HORIZON-HLTH-2023-CARE-04 'Resilience and Mental Wellbeing of the Health and Care workforce project' for 6.4M euro.

Together with all the partners of this project, we will aim at

  • (re-)building wellbeing and resilience of the healthcare workforce in our EU hospitals in the surgical pathways;
  • promoting onboarding as well as staying in the workplace by systematically researching factors and signals of job stress and novel mitigating solutions and by co-creating a multi-faceted non-digital, digital and AI-supported solution package to prevent burnout among (aspirant) healthcare professionals on the individual, team, and organisational level.
